Hi there!
I play and teach alto, tenor, soprano & baritone saxes and Bb clarinet, and cover styles ranging from classical to swing & pop to improvising and theory.
I have been teaching since the early 1990’s and have Distinction at Grade 8, a Performance Diploma and an Instrumental Teaching Diploma on saxophone from the Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music as well as a BA Hons specialising in music from the Open University.
Having gigged for 30 years for all manner of parties from weddings and corporate events including a James Bond party on HMS Queen Elizabeth, I now focus my attention on teaching, although I do still go out and tootle for the occasional shin-dig!
My students range from children to adults and beginners to professionals, no matter what my students want to achieve from their playing, they have lots of fun!!! whilst reaching their personal goals.
My studio is relaxed and a safe place for learning, experimenting and exploring music, with loads of books and backing tracks with a Bose speaker system.
Give me a shout or drop me line if you’d like to chat about lessons.
Have fun, toot-toot!
